Olga Kurylenko new Campaign face for 2010 calendar

Olga Kurylenko is perfectly unruffled about following in the footsteps of a host of Hollywood A-listers as the new face of Campari.

The 29-year-old Ukrainian actress has been chosen as the drink's latest calendar girl, taking on a role previously held by Jessica Alba, Salma Hayek and Eva Mendes to name but a few.Toast of the town: Bond girl Olga Kurylenko will take over from Jessica Alba as the new Campari girl for 2010.

Olga, who will take over in 2010 from Alba, this year's Campari Girl, shot the Italian brand's 11th calendar, dubbed Campari Milano, in Milan.

Her predecessors may be much better known but there is no doubting her model looks will live up to the brand's sophisticated image.

'Olga was a natural choice,' said Campari chief executive Bob Kunze-Concewitz.



'[She has] great charm, grace, elegance and sensuality that represents the perfect incarnation of the Campari brand.'

It's no surprise that this sultry Eastern European beauty got her start as a teenage model during the mid '90s. Olga Kurylenko's a relative newcomer to the world of film acting, but already has a number of movie credits to her name, including appearances in L'Annulaire (2005), Paris, je t'aime (2006), Le Serpent, Hitman, and Tyranny (all 2007). The new James Bond film has begun production at London’s Pinewood Studios, but this time James Bond has two new Bond Girls. Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton will co-star in the latest installment of the 007 franchise opposite Daniel Craig, who made his debut as Bond in 2006’s “Casino Royale,” the latest and highest grossing film in the series.

Kurylenko, a Ukrainian model-turned-actress, “will play the dangerously alluring Camille, who challenges Bond and helps him come to terms with the emotional consequences of Vesper’s betrayal.” As for Gemma Arterton, she will portray MI6 Agent Fields.
